I have used this on a bunch of different mills over the years and never had a problem with the cutter moving on me. Very fast to change only bad thing is you lose some Z daylight.

Jun 25, 2012· I sold my BP to get my tree 2uvr I cant stand draw bars. The tree is a far better mill than a BP the BP won out because it was cheap compared to the Tree. BP made thousands of those mills they are the least expensive toolroom mill made kinda of like the Haas of manual mills. I believe the tree cost more than double what a BP cost when new.

It sounds like you also have the Quick Click collet system which is pretty nice. The only disadvantage is the maximum shank size which is 3/4".
